How to Update Your FiveM Server Artifacts

Keeping your FiveM server up to date is crucial for ensuring the best performance and stability. Follow these steps to update your FiveM server artifacts using txAdmin.

Step 1: Access Your txAdmin Panel

  • Open your web browser and go to your txAdmin URL (usually something like http://localhost:40120/).
  • Log in with your admin credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Artifacts Section

  • Once logged in, look for any errors regarding your server artifacts, or txadmin version in your server console.

Step 3: Download the Latest Artifacts

  • Go to the official FiveM artifact repository (typically here).
  • Download the latest version of the server artifacts for your operating system. ( Latest recommended is not the latest recommended anymore, it hasnt been updated for years. Ignore this. )

Step 4: Upload the Artifacts

  • Extract the downloaded artifacts package on your local machine.
  • If needed Connect to your server using an FTP client (like FileZilla) or if you have HTNetwork server hosting, just connect using remote desktop. If your not sure how, follow this!
  • Navigate to your FiveM server directory.
  • If you have followed our guides, go into your server files folder, and replace all the files in here with your newly downloaded artifacts.

Step 5: Restart Your Server

  • Return to your txAdmin panel.
  • Click on the "Restart" button to apply the changes and restart your server.

Step 6: Verify the Update

  • After the server restarts, you should no longer experience the outdated server artifacts or txadmin error in your server console.
